From nature, Botox: the perfect solution for wrinkles

Interventions and Treatments:

Botox is a tiny organism that belongs to the family of Clostridium (Clostridium botulinum).

The toxin that is produced by botulinum can be dangerous if ingested with food, but medical research has been able to transform this organism into a beneficial element, identifying a range of uses that are very important from the therapeutic point of view: the correction of strabismus, the treatment of severe stiff neck, and for the treatment of certain neuromuscular disorders in children.

In 2002, Botulinum toxin type "A" was approved for use in the field of beauty by the American FDA (Food and Drug Administration), specifically for the treatment of wrinkles due to contractions of  the facial muscles, namely, "expression wrinkles."
